The classes are taught using the online learning tool WizIQ.com.  Students can view the class materials through the online whiteboard and listen to the class lecture through their computer speakers or headphones. The chat feature is used for questions.  All students will need to have a computer and high-speed internet access for class.

Charges for the program are $55/month. The academic year is broken up into three trimesters (Fall, Winter and Spring) and each trimester is approximately 3 months ($165).  Students pay on a per-trimester basis.  Financial aid is available upon request.

Ilm Essentials is geared toward live teaching therefore attendance is mandatory. Recordings are only provided for the rare occasion when a student misses a class. There are other online programs which offer predominantly pre-recorded classes for those students who have scheduling conflicts.

Full refunds will be issued within 30 days of the first class. No refunds can be issued thereafter.

You do not need a PayPal account to pay online and register. We use PayPal to process all payments, so once you are taken to the PayPal payment page, there is an option on the right toward the bottom of the screen which says:

If you click the highlighted link, you can pay via credit card without a PayPal account.

Registration for the Essentials Program will be open through half the year, but admission to the PLUS Program will close a few weeks after the first class.

Students are required to start from Year 1 and progress through the course. This allows us to ensure each graduating student has covered the requisite material properly.

Provided they will be accessing the class from the same computer, members living under the same roof can share a single registration.  However if each student will be logging in separately, or they are in different years of the program, each will have to register individually.

While there is not a set attendance policy, all students are expected to attend classes regularly, having reviewed the previous week’s lesson.

Audio recordings of previous year’s classes will be available for those who miss class or need to review material from the previous sessions.
